Like everywhere else a Jollibee opens in the world we can expect the same thing.
This is because millions of Filipino expats work in every nation on earth. Millions of Filipinos have migrated to hundreds of countries. And there are thousands of cities all over the world where Filupinos have been waiting for decades to have their own Jollibee store.
Opening Day Blues
So even if they have done all the necessary preparations, clocked in a maximum number of service crew possible and even if they limit the number of items one can order, it is always the same results -- the lines are always crazy long, the wait is several hours, they run out of the most sought after items in the menu and the overall experience is typically just relieved the wait is over.
Smart Advice
It is always best to wait a few weeks or even a couple of months to visit any new Jollibee.
Most have waited years, even decades, so why not wait for a few months more and enjoy the whole experience.
Anyway, even if we tell our homesick kababayans to wait, most will not be able to contain themselves and are waiting in line the night before opening day.
